Change to become a better company


AT THE END OF 2008...

the effects of the financial crisis struck our markets and short after that we noticed the effects as well. 50% loss in turnover.

Allthough it is a very inconvenient experience, I think that this is by far the best opportunity to prove our right of existance as a company. So what we did is, we analysed our minimal core-business. Than we designed a minimum team that could do the job. Which key managers are essential to survive for Meuwissen and which craftsmen make the difference in competition.
The rest of the family had to leave our company.

The design of the plan took us 2 weeks. The preparation a month, and the execution 3 weeks.

Now a very motivated and capable group of people is fighting for your orders. Every day we see improvements.

Improvements in our team-co-operation.
Improvements in our efficiency.
Improvements in our service.

You will notice the difference once you try.

To the competiton we say this:

There is no way to avoid the consequences of this crisis. In stead of doing so, embrace this period of negative growth. When every production company takes a piece of the pain, decreases a part of its capacity, than we can start a new sustainable future for our companies. The first who take the pain will be the first to enjoy the benefits of the new era.
